Peggy Morrow’s extensive business background encompasses strategic planning, product marketing, marketing communications, project management, process re-engineering, market research, information systems, and internal auditing.

Peggy is a founder and principal of Insight Consulting, a marketing consultancy focused on helping small businesses reach more customers and increase sales.  She helps clients find the “sweet spot” in their market where they can sell more products and services, develops business and marketing plans for companies seeking financing or a blueprint for operations, and designs marketing communications materials that generate business leads.

Peggy’s clients range from professional service firms to retail operations, high tech businesses, and professional associations.  Business size varies from a one person, home-based business to large corporations.   Services include marketing plans, brochures, strategic planning facilitation, advertisements, articles, newsletter design and content, trade show design, web sites, business plans, logos, and business cards.

Larger consulting projects have included leading the executive team of a $150 million software company through the strategic planning process; developing a strategic assessment and executive presentation for the government vertical market for a $4.6 billion unit of a major telecom; performing marketing, financial, and product competitive analysis for a German software company which resulted in expansion to the U.S., and creating a direct sales force compensation plan for a $450 million sector of a British telecom.

Peggy’s speaking engagements have included the “Ten Tips for Marketing Your Small Business,” “Internet Marketing Tips,” “Money Really Does Grow on Trees”, and “Elements of a Successful Marketing Plan,” presented at various chambers of commerce, business meetings, and educational forums.

Peggy was a founder and Marketing Director of a network performance software start-up and performed virtually every Marketing function needed to launch and promote the company, from developing the market positioning strategy to marketing communications to product marketing to sales lead generation to competitive analysis.

In two successive positions as Director of Marketing for a major telecom, Peggy developed and ensured the execution of comprehensive business strategies for multi-billion dollar wholesale revenue streams. She created and led numerous interactive strategy communication workshops focused on building business acumen and increasing management effectiveness.  Peggy also directed a process improvement team, led technical internal auditor teams, served as a database administrator, and programmed inventory and budgeting application programs.

Peggy is President of the Biz2Biz Networking Group, Vice President of the Board of the Prairie Center for the Arts Foundation in Schaumburg, Past-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Suburban Alliance for Commerce and Industry (NSACI), and Past-President of the Paperweight Collectors Association of Illinois.
